A Public Health Organisation That Moves People
Based in Islamabad, Pakistan, Karavan was founded on a simple premise: that physical activity and good nutrition are the most cost-effective public health interventions available — and that everyone deserves access to them.
Why We Exist
Pakistan faces a growing epidemic of non-communicable diseases — diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, and obesity. These conditions are largely preventable through lifestyle changes, yet the infrastructure for prevention is nearly nonexistent.
Karavan was created to fill that gap. We are a social enterprise: our studio training and corporate programs generate the revenue that funds our public health research and free community camps. Every paying client directly supports our mission.
We don't just train people — we study what works, publish our findings, collaborate with government, and advocate for policy that puts prevention first. Our goal is systemic change: a Pakistan where physical activity is a public health priority, not an afterthought.
